Chris Diani is a New England-based photographer, filmmaker, and educator. He earned a BFA in Photography from UMass Dartmouth and an MFA in Studio Art from School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, where he is currently serving as the Post-Graduate Teaching Fellow in Photography. He is also a graduate of Seattle Film Institute’s Total Immersion program. His photographs have been published in the Boston Globe, Advocate, Options Magazine, and Artsin Square’s forthcoming 5x7 Photo Book Vol. 2. “Colors of Pride,” his solo exhibition of portraits of members of the LGBTQ+ community, was shown at Gallery 244 in New Bedford, Massachusetts and he has exhibited in group shows at Gallery 263 in Cambridge, Massachusetts; The Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts in Providence, Rhode Island; A Photographers Place in Raleigh, North Carolina; Arts Worcester in Worcester, Massachusetts; and the Curated Fridge in Somerville, Massachusetts. His first feature film, the award-winning gay zombie comedy Creatures from the Pink Lagoon, screened in over 30 cities worldwide and was released on DVD by Ariztical Entertainment.
